I've set up this page to list my forthcoming talks about history, historical fiction and my writing.
I've also listed my UK book titles in chronological order because I am often asked. Scroll down past the 'Events' section to see them, where you will also find a link to a page on my website with more information on reading order and groupings.

FURTHER DOWN THE PIPELINE
'I've listed these in order of publication. You will notice that some titles have been re-issued under different imprints. You will find a handy list of suggested reading on my website here: http://www.elizabethchadwick.com/Books/readingorder.html
I am also in the middle of re-editing some of the early out of print titles for future re-issue - see note at the end.
It should also be noted that Children of Destiny has been re-edited and re-issued under it's USA title of Daughters of the Grail. The Time of Singing has been retitled For The King's Favor in the USA
A few titles have missing ISBNS but I hope to fill them in at a later date once I've been up into the loft! Please bear with me.
Where a title appears for the first time, I have put the description underneath in green. Also in green I have indicated where novels link to others and in what order they should be read to take best advantage of that linkage. To help quickly identify those with links to other novels, I have added a red asterisk.

October 2007 A Place Beyond Courage : Sphere hardcover.
Mid 12th Century. Based on the true story of John FitzGilbert Marshal, father of William Marshal and a man of outstanding bravery. Links to The Greatest Knight and The Scarlet Lion. Can be read as a prequel to these, but I prefer myself to see it as a stand alone to the story of a man who was remarkable in his own right.

Mid 12th Century. Re-edited re-issue of earlier title
October 2008: A Place Beyond Courage: Sphere paperback
October 2008: The Time of Singing: Sphere hardcover
England 1173. The story of Roger Bigod, dispossessed lord of Framlingham Castle in Norfolk and Ida de Tosney, Royal mistress and mother to the son of Henry II.
Links into The Greatest Knight but also totally stands alone and is very much intended to do so. To Defy A King follows it, but is a stand alone. *

Did you write Brides of Fire? or is there another Elizabeth Chadwick. The revbiew I read doesn't sound like your writting. I just love your books. I live in New Zealand and find it had to purchase your books here so I order them on the internet. I llok forward to your new novel 'a Place Beyond Courage'when it comes out in paperback
The cover of A Place Beyond Courage is wonderful, Susan.
Wow, you're certainly prolific, and impressively organised! I'm impressed that you're doing so well that you can write full time. Good job!
Elizabeth, in your excellent book, "The Greatest Knight," you promised you would write another historical novel about the second half of William Marshall's life. Is it a work in progress? I hope so! The Plantagenet kings are my favorite royal family in English history.
I WROTE A BOOK " IN 2008 I'M VOTING FOR THE TOTAL PACKAGE " IT WAS PUBLISHED BY XLIBRIS.COM AND ALSO IS ON BARNES & NOBLES AND AMAZON
What a wonderful line up. I found paperbacks of The Wild Hunt, The Running Vixen, and Shields of Pride on one of my bookshelves tonight. I look forward to reading them.
Right at the top of your list of Titles, you say "The Wild Hunt" is your first book, and linked to "The Running Vixen" and "The Wild Hunt.. I think that should say "Leopard Unleashed"? I've just acquired "The Running Vixen", it's next to my bed waiting for me to finish my first Sharan Newman. I'm looking forward to "Leopard Unleashed", how strange must it be for you to revisit your old work, and reflect on your development from then to this. I hope you never run out of ideas for new stories!
I have collected and read your books over the years, but I have been bought a ebook, which is brilliant, I never thought I would give up the feels and smell of a book but I love it. I have downloaded the 7 books available in this format and was wondering if you intend to format your other books?
Dear Elizabeth Chadwick, I have now read all of your books and immensely enjoyed them all - I don't want to put them down but don't want to finish them either!!!!
Last year I purchased 5 books which I thought were written by you and found out to my cost that they were not. They were written by an American author who used your name, her real name it said in the authors information was Nancy Henderson. Beware other Elizabeth Chadwick fans!!
Dear Elizabeth,
I very much enjoyed your books about the Marshal Family. I wonder whether you might also consider to center a book around Richard Strongbow de Clare. Isn´t he also a fascinating character?
